Early Life and Education
Born on December 1, 1988, in Lahore, Wahaj grew up as an only child. His father was a government employee and his mother a teacher. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business (BBA) and a Master’s in Multimedia Arts from the National College of Arts (NCA).
Career Journey
Behind the Scenes: Before acting, he worked in the news and programming departments of various TV channels. He served as an Assistant Producer at Samaa TV (2009–2011) and later as a Producer at Geo TV.
Acting Debut: He began his acting career in theater in 2007 but made his television debut in 2015 with the drama Ishq Ibadat.
Breakthrough: While he worked consistently for years in dramas like Ehd-e-Wafa (2019), his career reached a massive turning point with the 2023 drama “Tere Bin”, where his portrayal of Murtasim Khan became a global sensation.
Personal Life
Wahaj married Sana Farooq in March 2016. The couple met during an internship program at Samaa TV. They have one daughter, Amirah Ali, born in 2017.
